Let's Grow More Fruit Trees to Save Our Environment and Earth ๐ณ๐
Tree Plantation Drive by PARAYAS Society
Dated: 1st August 2026
On 1st August 2026, PARAYAS Society (Participatory Action for Rural Advancement and Youth Awareness), with the active participation of its volunteer Mr. Ranjeet Singh, carried out a fruit tree plantation drive to promote environmental conservation and encourage people to plant more trees.
During the plantation campaign, several fruit-bearing saplings such as Guava, Jamun, Mulberry (Shahtoot) and other native fruit trees were planted. The initiative aimed not only to increase green cover but also to inspire communities to protect nature for future generations.
For many years, PARAYAS Society has been organizing tree plantation campaigns across different areas with a simple but powerful message:
"Plant More Trees, Save the Environment, Save the Earth."
Why Fruit Trees Matter
Fruit trees are among nature's greatest gifts. They provide numerous environmental, social, and economic benefits, including:
- Produce fresh and healthy fruits for families.
- Help reduce household expenses on fruits.
- Improve nutrition and promote healthy lifestyles.
- Release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide, improving air quality.
- Provide shade and help reduce local temperatures.
- Support birds, bees, butterflies, and other wildlife.
- Beautify villages, homes, schools, and public spaces.
- Help prevent soil erosion through strong root systems.
- Can generate additional income by selling surplus fruits.
- Contribute to a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future.
Healthy forests and widespread tree cover also help maintain ecological balance and support the natural water cycle, making tree plantation an essential step toward protecting our planet.
PARAYAS Society believes that every individual can contribute to environmental protection by planting and caring for at least one tree every year. Even a small effort today can create a healthier and greener tomorrow.
Our Message
"Let's grow more and more trees to save our environment and our Earth. Every fruit tree planted today is a gift to future generations."
