“Shaheed Bhagat Singh Continues to Inspire the Youth” : Ranjit Singh

Salasar, Rajasthan, September 28 : On the occasion of the 119th birth anniversary of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, PARAYAS Society, Himachal Pradesh volunteer and social worker Ranjit Singh planted saplings at Salasar, Rajasthan, paying tribute to the great revolutionary and freedom fighter.
Ranjit Singh dedicated the plantation activity to the sacrifice and contribution of Shaheed Bhagat Singh towards the nation and appealed to people to plant more trees and actively participate in environmental conservation.
He said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh was not only one of the great revolutionaries of India's freedom struggle but also a lasting source of inspiration for the youth. His courage, sacrifice, patriotism and commitment to the nation continue to motivate young people to work for a better society and a better future.
Ranjit Singh said that Bhagat Singh was born on September 28, 1907, in Banga village of Lyallpur, in present-day Pakistan. The revolutionary environment around him and the prevailing conditions in the country had a deep impact on his personality from an early age. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre further strengthened his determination to fight against British rule.
He said Bhagat Singh played an important role in the Naujawan Bharat Sabha and was associated with the Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA). Along with being a fearless revolutionary, he was also a writer, thinker and progressive intellectual. His famous slogan “Inquilab Zindabad” continues to inspire generations.
Ranjit Singh said Bhagat Singh sacrificed his life for the freedom of the country and was martyred on March 23, 1931, along with Rajguru and Sukhdev.
He said that planting a sapling on the birth anniversary of Shaheed Bhagat Singh is not merely an environmental activity but also a commitment towards future generations. Just as the freedom fighters sacrificed their present for the future of the nation, today's generation must take responsibility for protecting nature and natural resources.
He appealed to people to plant trees and ensure their proper care and survival. He said trees are essential for clean air, water conservation, biodiversity and a healthy environment.
On the occasion, Ranjit Singh gave the message:
🌳 Plant more trees.
🌿 Protect the environment, protect the Earth.
🌱 Increase greenery, secure the future.
Salute to Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh.
Inquilab Zindabad. 🇮🇳🌹
